After you register, you'll be able to deposit funds via Paypal and upload your banner.
The cost is $10/month for each placement location. Currently, there are four possible locations -- the top and bottom of the HC
calendar, and the top and bottom of the HC forums. The Hyena Cart calendar averages over 7,000 hits per day. While the forums see over 30,000 hits per day.
Once you've created your account and logged into it, click "Add Funds." For now, Paypal is the only payment method accepted.
You'll see your account balance on the
lower left of your page. Now click "Buy Advertising / Impressions" to purchase some advertising
time at the location of your choice. After that, click "Advert settings", choose the advertisement you'd like to edit, and browse to your banner image, enter an
ad description and the url of the site you'd like the banner to link to, and click "Update settings." You can use the bannerstats link above to monitor
your impressions and click-throughs.
Required banner specs:
- png, jpg, gif or animated gif (and extension must be in *lower case*)
- 468x60 for full banners, 120x60 for buttons, and 120x240 for tall banners
- 128 kB (but less than 126 kB is probably better or you may encounter errors when uploading.)
